Our Story
To understand 2LOGIC today, is to understand the 20+ year friendship of our founders, Gary and Karl. Their relationship and shared values laid the foundation for our business. So, come with us on a short trip down memory lane as we get a little nostalgic and tell the story of 2LOGIC.
The year is 1999, Britney was at number 1, The Matrix was dominating the box office and the millennium (bug) was looming. In a local Wolverhampton supermarket two teenage shelf stackers met for the first time, our future IT heroes Gary and Karl. They hit it off immediately and a bromance soon blossomed over a shared love of technology, rock music, terrible jokes and the odd cheeky pint and a game of darts.
From the beginning, the two were passionate about IT and wanted to make careers from it – once they realised they were not destined for rock superstardom, obviously. They both got their first career breaks in education where they sharpened their IT skills, but perhaps not their dress sense.
After a few years, the pair both moved client-side, Karl with Deutz (now a client) and Gary with Allgood (also now a client). Although it was a close call for us, as Gary had decided to pack in the whole IT thing and join the RAF if he did not get the job at Allgood. Phew, thank you Allgood!
Over a decade later – now 2015 – Karl was thinking of going self-employed. In the last few years, he had been working on other IT projects in his spare time for companies like Goodfish (still a client) and had been offered a great job to fit out the Sunbeam building in Wolverhampton. Realising it was a monster project but a lifechanging opportunity, he asked his good buddy and darts partner Gary if he fancied helping.
And with that, 2LOGIC was born.
With a simple formula of IT services designed to help any business and support to keep it that way. All delivered through the very best customer service.
Today, 2LOGIC has grown its team, and are supporting 85+ clients with offices all over the world, and a service portfolio consisting of everything a small or mid-size business might need.
